Kindergarten Play

Our boys were very manly bumblebees. The "queen bee" was a girl in our carpool, Madison, who was typecast for the part. Other little friends were ladybugs, army ants, horseflies, butterflies, and fireflies.

I was very proud of our shy boys for saying their lines! They did great. Harrison got bored waiting for his part and so he found a black feather from one of the ladybugs' boas and played with it. You can see him sticking it to his face like a mustache.

I loved seeing all the kids on stage and doing such a terrific job. What a bunch of cuties! And what a great, dedicated group of teachers who spent months preparing the kids for their musical theater debuts!

Not bored, just thinking about ice cream.
